February will be a very busy month for the three churches that compose the Toe Valley Charge offering opportunities for fellowship and for worship of our Lord and Savior.
TOE VALLEY UNITED METHODIST CHARGE EVENTS
Each Wednesday evening Mt Zion UMC has Bible Study beginning at 6:30pm. Pine Grove choir meets for practice at 6:30pm.
Community Supper continues each Wednesday at Vance Memorial beginning at 5:30pm with meals available to take out or eat in. Pine Grove hosts a Community Supper twice each month. Dates for February will be on the 8th and 22nd with serving 5pm to 6:30pm.
On Sunday, February 12th, the United Methodist Men will be serving a Valentine Dinner honoring the ladies of the Charge. The time is 5 to 7pm. The Dinner will be held at Pine Grove UMC.
On Saturday, February 18th, the United Methodist Men will meet for their monthly breakfast at 8am at Pine Grove UMC. The breakfast will be followed by a woodcutting workday.
Tuesday, February 21st, the annual Fat Tuesday Celebration will be hosted by Vance Memorial UMC. Cajun food, seafood, King Cake and Mardi Gras decorations will welcome the guests.
Ash Wednesday services for the Charge will be held at 7pm on February 22 at Pine Grove UMC.
And finally, Pine Grove United Methodist Women will be holding a fundraiser dinner from 12:30 to 2pm. Menu includes chicken and dumplings or baked spaghetti, salad, bread, coffee, tea and homemade desserts.

Vance Memorial UMC is located in Plumtree, Pine Grove UMC is located in Ingalls and Mt Zion is located at the County line across from Mayland Community College. Pastor for the Toe Valley Charge is Reverend Kenneth Anderson.
